Powerful example of the importance of leading others to Jesus!

Whoever is elected President, pay attention to Paul’s admonition to believers:

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience. Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

Hey Christian, we are a missionary people serving a missionary God. The work is to go into the darkness, share the gospel, make disciples and start missional communities (aka church.)

“Seeing the people, He [Jesus] felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then He *said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Boycotting the Olympics, Netflix, Target, etc. wil not change anything. Sharing the gospel with those far from God changes everything.

Why are folks surprised at the broken displays of a broken and lost world? Darkness, sin, evil are present in every part of our world.

If you are a follower of Christ, stop complaining, get out of your comfort zone and share the hope of Christ to those far from God.

This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
