Our thought life can be unhealthy just like our bodies can be unhealthy. The Bible spends a great deal of time instructing us on how to keep our thoughts in check. His word is true, not necessarily our thoughts!

“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

You can know if you have stinkin thinkin by comparing your thoughts to the P48 standard:

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
