Take your rest Rev Copeland.

“A Servant Called to Preach, A Shepherd Who Has Answered His Final Call.”

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Pastor Eddie Copeland, 78, of Shiloh, Georgia, who answered the Master’s final call on October 8, 2026.

Pastor Copeland faithfully served as pastor of Mt. Pleasant CME Church in Mountville, Georgia. Having answered God’s call to preach and shepherd His people, he has now answered the call from labor to eternal rest.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21

Please keep the Copeland family and church family in your prayers.
