God puts the idea of eternity in the heart of every man (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Whether we love Him or hate Him, man thinks about God.

Unless someone can explain how something (the universe) appeared from nothing, faith in a Creator is not unreasonable

Our first "Sustainable Life Class" was a big hit! We made 5 pounds of soap scented with frankincense and myrrh and a little bit of gold for our upcoming Christmas event. We learned and had fun together. Thank you all for coming.
Joel gave us a sample of a class he is going to help us with in November.
If you have a skill you are willing to share or have an idea for a future class, please let us know.
Our suggested upcoming schedule is: October- cheese making and November- pita and hummus making! I hope you can join us!

We are so excited to add an event to our monthly calendar! Our Sustainable Life Class will begin this week with a soap making class. We will learn how to make soap while getting a gift of Frankincense and Myrrh soap for our Christmas event. All attendees will be able to take home a cheat sheet and a sample of home made soap.
There is no cost to join us and class is open to everyone. This months class is not safe for children though.
Future classes include canning soup, conflict resolution, and foraging.
I hope you can join us soon!

Many thanks to Robbie and Angie Shirah for their work at 'The Huddle Youth Center' and FCA. Their care for students at Manchester High School after school is a model of compassion for others. They shared their vision with us yesterday at County Line Church. What a great service. They also share their vision with other churches who would like to support their efforts and learn from their experience. Thanks again to Robbie and Angie! ~ Pastor Randy Puckett
