Moses mother, Jochebed, gives us a glimpse of the powerful influence a mother has in her children. Her 3 children were brought up in a land of slavery but were leaders and mightily used of God!
She was in Moses life for a brief time. She had wisedom and courage to hide her son in a culture where killing sons were Egyptian goals...
Moses was released in that basket, trusting that God would protect her son. She didn't even get to name her son. The enemy did... She was with him a brief time but the seeds she planted made Moses not corrupted by the palace. Moses was used by God to deliver, instruct, and guide the people.
We are still fighting the same spirit of Pharaoh in our time. If the devil can't kill it, he wants to enslave it. If he can't enslave it, he wants it wandering in the wildness past it's time..faithless, fearful, and complaining..
Rise up and stand in the gap raising children and influencing those around us to stand up too!
Pray over your family, community, and leaders that God would direct and Pharaoh's influence would have to release!
