Solid Rock Baptist Church Solid Rock Baptist Church The Solid Rock story tells of the faithfulness of God's plan for Wapello. A prayer that began over 40 years ago is now being completed.

Solid Rock is established and growing. God has used the cooperation of Southern Baptists in three states to bring this work to existence. He has challenged people who have lived most of their lives in Wapello to faithfully serve Him. Those who helped start the work and especially the local members have paid the price for Solid rock to exist. Everyone at Solid Rock knows that our purpose for existence is not to build our name, but to carry Christ to our community.

Thank you all who attended last night. Thank you all who brought an item of food to share and thank you to those who brought their wildlife mounts.
A special thanks to all who made donations for prizes and to those who set up display booths. It truly takes an army of help to have a successful event.
Our great appreciation goes out to Sam Ellyson for reminding us all of the importance to include family in your activities. Also a comment that will stick with me forever is; while in pursuit of your game, “ if you have to sin to take your game, then it has become an idle.”
