Hope From God's Word

How does the Trinity work? We cannot fully understand that God is 3 persons yet one God but the Bible teaches it. In John 14 we see how the Father and Jesus work together as one: "10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father
is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his
works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves." It is amazing to see how God works together so perfectly, because unity is something so difficult for us humans to obtain with each other. The fact that Jesus is God is so important because the death of just a man on a cross would not have been able to pay for the sins of the world. The death of the precious only Son of God was enough of a sacrifice to pay for the sins of the world. Thank God!

How many different ways are there to heaven? The world would say many. But Jesus says only one. We may not like that answer. But we are not God. We are not the ones who call the shots. Jesus said in John 14:6: “I am the way, and the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Thank God there is a heaven. Thank God that the way is so easy for us: Faith in Christ. It is easy for us but hard it was hard for Christ: He had to suffer and die for our sins! If there were many ways to be saved, why would The Father have allowed His beloved Son to suffer and die for us sinners? Jesus is the way to heaven. Jesus is the truth in the midst of all the lies in this world. Jesus gives us this life and the next life to all who trust in Him as their Savior. Praise Jesus!

Hope From God's Word

What great hope do we always have? This world can get very difficult at times. But God has left us many beautiful promises about our home in heaven. In John 14:2,3 Jesus says, "In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." Keith Green, the Christian singer said of this verse: "I know that Jesus Christ has been preparing a home for me and for some of you, for two thousand years. And if the world took six days and that home two thousand years, hey man, this is like living in a garbage can compared to what's going on up there." Jesus will take you to a better home one day because you believe in Him as your Savior. Praise God!

In who do you trust? It is written on our money, "In God we trust". But do we? Jesus said in John 14:[1] “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me." We are worried and upset about so many things in life, and understandably so, because life can be so hard. But Jesus calls us to trust Him rather than worry. Believe that He will help you with the challenges of life. Therefore pray to Jesus and look to the Bible for direction on how to live. Stay close to Jesus by reading the Bible every day. God loves you and does not want you to live in worry and fear. God will solve your problem or help you through it in answer to your prayers. Keep in mind as well that there may be action needed on your part. For example, you pray for a job, but you also seek one out. No matter what may come in life, thank Jesus that He has saved your soul through the cross if you believe in Him and thus you can be at peace no matter what life brings.
