This is Jesus' answer to the question,"what is the greatest commandment?" See, a lot of times we feel as though we have to get ourselves cleaned up before we can get right with God. We feel like we need to quit drinking, we need to quit drugs, we need to quit looking at po*******hy and all the other things. The first thing we need to do start loving God, proclaim faith in Jesus Christ and then just keep loving God. The cleaning up part will come from our love for God. He will begin a work in US that will change our lives and our eternity.
