Congratulations to our very own Reade Wohler! We know she is great with kids, because she leads our Sunday School.

Our beloved Children’s Librarian is passing the torch!

After three wonderful years, we are sadly saying goodbye to Cora as she begins an exciting new adventure in graduate school in Georgia.

Those of you who know Cora know just how fun-loving, creative, and kind she is. Over the past three years, she has brought so much joy to our library through children’s programs, storytimes, crafts, and connections with families in our community. She has made a lasting impact here, and she will be so missed!

Many of you may already recognize Reade as a familiar face around the library from her time working at our circulation desk in the evenings. We are excited that she will now be stepping into this role and continuing the fun and creativity that make our children’s department so special.

Be sure to stop by the library next week to wish Cora well before she heads off on her next chapter! We are so excited for all that’s ahead for her and can’t wait to hear about her grad school adventures.

Pastor Ron will talk about his work with Counteract International, and we'll highlight our local food insecurity ministries and future plans, including support for Wamego school supplies, Christmas Bureau, and more. See you there!

Video shows some of our members packing the May meal kits we delivered to Faith Market. The kit contained a recipe and ingredients for a beef stroganoff casserole. Delicious!

We enjoyed celebrating with three graduates during worship on May 17. Congrats to Ella Goodman, who is graduating from Wamego High School and headed to Emporia State University to study criminology; to Loryn Hodge for achieving her PhD in history; and to Evan Hancock, for receiving his Juris Doctorate.
