St. Jude’s Parish offers Healing Masses and there is one this Sunday, July 26 at 3pm. A Healing Mass is for anyone seeking divine intervention in healing of the mind, body and spirit. This liturgy includes Anointing of the Sick within the Mass.

You are welcome to join Father Jeremy St. Martin in celebrating this uplifting Mass in praising God and praying for your personal healing needs and that of others.

CONFESSION: THE CHURCH WAS RIGHT AGAIN!

Researchers are discovering that speaking honestly about our failures, taking responsibility for our actions, and confronting painful truths can reduce stress and improve emotional well-being.

Catholics call that Confession.

Studies suggest that putting emotions into words can help regulate them.

Admitting our faults instead of burying them can bring relief.

Many people report feeling lighter and more at peace after confronting difficult truths.

Of course, we don't go to Confession because it makes us feel better. We go because Christ gave us the sacrament for the forgiveness of sins.

Still, it makes sense that when the soul is healed, the mind often benefits too.

Jeremy and fellow parishioners at a parish table at 6:00 p.m. for wonderful company and a great meal! (Separate checks will be issued.)
