Mark your calendars:

1. Church returns to the usual 10:15 time on Sept. 13, the week after Labor Day.

2. Church in the park will be Sept. 20 with a potluck to follow. The church will provide the meat, so bring a side or dessert. Or, if you can’t, come anyway! There is always plenty!

We’re collecting school supply donations until August 21st. If you can’t make it to church by then and want to donate, let Lacey know and she will connect with you!

(Over-the-ear headphones are always a hot commodity and one of the first things they run out of at school. These are needed for online standardized testing for grades 2+, among other activities. Other specific requests can be found in the church newsletter, but any supplies would be welcomed and appreciated!)

Thank you to all who worked a food stand shift (some more than one!), helped set up, helped tear down, supervised a shift, fetched supplies, made pie, or gave a donation. Special thanks to the Schirms for the use of their garage and house as our home base!!
Galatians 6:9 tells us to never grow weary of doing good. Thank you all for heeding the call and helping us with another successful year at the antique walk!

Since the streets cleared out a bit earlier than usual due to the rain this morning, we’re going to tear down earlier than planned today. We’ll meet at the stand at 4:30. Please help if you can! Many hands make light work!

Calling all available able bodies! Food stand set up will begin at 3:00 Thursday, loading up equipment and supplies at the church and hauling everything to Schirms’ for set up.

And we will need you all again on Sunday at 6:00 to help tear it down and bring it back!

Please help! Our planning committee is small, so we’re counting on many volunteers to make the food stand its usual big success! We’re one of the few remaining local food stands in town during the walk, and we need all hands on deck to keep it going!

Remember to check the schedule for your assigned work time and day to bring your pies!
