Assalaamualaikum-wa-Rahmatullah

Ramadan is coming! Alhamdulillah, we will have Taraweeh prayers at IEC.

Hafidh Sameer Khan, Hafidh Talha Dadabhoy, and Hafidh Mahmood Baggia will be leading us in prayer every night along with other reciters. Isha prayer at 8:45 PM.

*Please enter the business park from Washington Ave. off of Brea Canyon Rd. and use gate code 3107 #. All other gates will be locked with no entry.

**We will be strictly enforcing protocols for social distancing and mask wearing.

We encourage you all to attend with your families. May Allah (SWT) make this blessed month a source of spiritual upliftment, forgiveness, submission to him, and a means of us all attaining his pleasure.

We just received some very difficult to process and heartbreaking news. Shahzad Khan, the son of Uncle Asad Khan (senior founder of IEC and past president) and Uzma Aunty passed away this morning at the young age of 42. Please pray for the family during this very difficult time. May Allah grant him the highest levels of paradise and give strength to his family!

Community Update: IEC is working with the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California and its Board of Imams to ensure a safe reopening. Based on current conditions and the guidance in the statement below, we do not have a reopening date set. We hope to reopen soon, Inshallah. We will be updating you as things progress.

Eid Mubarak! May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, duas, and prayers. We are grateful and thankful to Allah (SWT) for all his blessings upon us, and we ask for His protection and safety.

Please stay safe following social distancing guidelines while you celebrate and enjoy the day of Eid with your family.

Please visit and read Islamic Shura Council of Southern California’s Eid Announcement. We hope to be able to open IEC back up soon and welcome all of you, inshallah. But, we will wait for guidelines and orders from Los Angeles County and the State of California, as we fall under their jurisdiction. At this time, we do not have a date set for starting classes and Jumuah prayers. We will also be working on implementing processes based on local safety guidelines as they are released and updated.
