Mary Church has been serving Walnut Creek since before the city existed! The small mission church was built on Main Street in 1884, and in 1940 the current church building was constructed to accommodate a growing congregation. The church has gone through several changes to meet the needs of our community, including the addition of a top-rated K-8 school which was built in the 1960's. With a vibran

Inspired by Pope Francis’ encouragement for the faithful to participate in all-night adoration once a month, we will have Overnight Adoration in the chapel from 8:00pm on the evening of First Friday - September 4th - until 9:00am on the morning of First Saturday - September 5th.

Come and spend some time with the Eucharistic Lord.

Please be advised, you must reserve time, in advance, to participate in overnight adoration. To reserve time, please call the St. Mary Church parish office at 925-891-8900.

First Saturday Mass with Anointing of the Sick - July 4

Since the 1st Saturday is July 4th, we will have devotion in the chapel at 9:00am to 10:00am.

Mass with anointing of the sick will be at 10:00am.

Anointing of the Sick will be after the Homily for those who wish, as it offers consolation to the sick in times of serious illness, and strength to their loved ones and those caring for them.

Overnight Adoration - July 3-4

We will have overnight Adoration in the chapel from 8:00pm on the evening of First Friday - July 3rd - until 9:00am on the morning of First Saturday - July 4th. Come and spend some time with the Eucharistic Lord.

Since the First Saturday is July 4th, we will have devotion in the chapel at 9am to 10am. Mass with anointing of the sick will be at 10am.

Please be advised, you must reserve time, in advance, to participate in overnight adoration. After 8pm, a code will be required to enter the Adoration Chapel. The code will be made available to those who have signed up for a given hour between 8:00pm on Friday and 9:00am on Saturday morning. For safety and security, there will be no walk-ins allowed.
