We finished a great missions conference yesterday. I was just blown away by the kindness of the people here in Lyons, NY.
Friday night we studied procrastinoma (neglect). Sunday a.m. I preached about SDS (Saviour Deficiency Syndrome), and i finished by exposing hypo-obefaithilosis (doubt). I believe the Lord used it (I know he used it in my heart).
I am looking forward to what God might have in store for our relationship with this church.

Day 2 of missions conference we exposed the disease named megalanoma (selfishness). Living life to please self is drinking from a poisoned well. This applies both to the individual and the local church.

First night of missions conference here in Lyons, NY at the Maranatha Baptist Church.

First disease sacking the life out of missions:

Queseracinoma: apathy

Not caring about lost souls violates the natural order of the spiritual life.

Last weekend we had a wonderful time at the Old Paths Baptist Church of Jefferson City, MO. This is a church that Jessi visited during youth rallies when she was a young person. Speaking of which, she celebrated her ???th birthday yesterday. The girls made her a cake, and I cooked supper for her. We are so privileged to have such a good wife and mother.

Praise the Lord! Jessi and I have tested negative for the covid-19 virus. Thanks for your prayers. Proof positive! One is safe following the will of God for their lives.

This week has brought an unexpected change of events. Late Tuesday afternoon we got the call in Custer, SD that we had been exposed to covid-19 the previous week. We immediately cleared the near schedule and high-tailed it back to Indiana (22 hours in the car). Friday morning we went to get tested even though we do not seem to be showing symptoms. We should have the results of the test by this Wednesday. Let me assure everyone we are healthy but must make sure that we will not pass it on to others.
So, here we sit listening to prerecorded preaching wishing to be at church. Please pray that we will test negative so we can get back at the work we need to do.

Last Sunday, we presented the ministry to the Bethel Baptist Church of Beulah, ND. This church is currently looking for a pastor, so please pray with me that this group of people will be able to find the right man.

Wednesday, we presented the ministry to the Bethel Baptist Church of Rapid City, SD.

Today, we are excited about sharing our burden for the Thai people with the people of the Mountainview Baptist Church in Custer, SD. This church has graciously allowed us to use their missions cabin while we are working in the area.

Although the deputation part of our ministry is often difficult and tedious, God sometimes blesses with opportunities to build amazing memories for our family. The place He provided us to stay is right in the middle of some of the most stunningly beautiful country we have seen (pictures to follow). There is no greater joy than to serve the One that created both majestic mountains and special people to share it with.

We shared the burden for lost Thai souls with people in North Dakota for the first time last night. We are participating in the first ever missions conference in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Dickinson, ND and heard a convicting sermon on the spiritual dullness that we have to the need of lost souls. Excited for some more good preaching. Also heard from another new supporter (Elbow Lake BC in MN). This is our first supporter from this state. HALLELUJAH!

Praise God that we had two great meetings today. First, we had the privilege to share our burden for the Thai people at the Harvest Baptist Church of Watertown, SD. Praise God! They voted to become partners with what God is doing in Thailand.
Next, we presented the ministry to the Montevideo Baptist Church in Montivideo, MN. It was amazing to see the spirit of the church considering their church building burnt to the ground just a little over a month ago. We had great fellowship at both churches and some good southern style potluck.

We had the privilege to meet with the wonderful people of the Northwoods Baptist Church of Bimidgi, MN for their midweek service. This city is very near the headwaters of the Mississippi River. We love getting to share our love for Jesus and the Thai people.
