The Wallkill Senior High School has generously offered to help the Wallkill Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry collect needed food and selected hygiene products at a Stuff the Bus donation drive on Friday, September 25 from 2 to 8 pm in the high school student parking lot by the auditorium doors.

All donations are welcome. The top items needed are canned goods, such as: spaghetti sauce, pork and beans, canned fruits and vegetables, along with creamy peanut butter, assorted pasta and white rice. The pantry also provides, when available, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, bar soap and liquid hand soap. Monetary donations are always welcome. Come out and help us stuff the bus!

If you are in need and a resident of the Wallkill Central School District, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is located at the Wallkill Reformed Church, 45 Bridge Street, Wallkill, NY 12589. Hours are every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Visit our page, Wallkill Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Please join us for worship at 10 on Sunday, as Kristin Sclafani leads us with scriptures and her message of God’s impact on our lives. We will also share in the sacrament of Holy Communion, giving us the opportunity to receive more of God’s grace and love.

The Azheimer's Association presents... Building Foundations of Caregiving on Wednesday, September 2 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM

Caring for someone living with dementia brings a unique set of challenges and rewards. With the right help and support, you can empower yourself to provide quality care while managing your own well-being.

Join us for Building Foundations of Caregiving, the Alzheimer’s Association’s next presentation in the Empowered Caregiver series. We will explore the role of the caregiver, changes they may experience, how to build a support team and manage caregiver stress.

We will meet in our Fellowship Hall.
