On Sunday, May 31, St. John Chrysostom welcomed Leah Morgan Pawloski into our community through the sacrament of baptism.🕯️

You can see how excited her parents and god-parents are, and she was pretty curious about everything too!

In the photo, from left to right, are: dad Andrew Pawloski, godfather Robert Connors, godmother Camryn Shea holding Leah (the guest of honor), and mom Taylor Pawloski. Her siblings Hannah and Ryan were too busy exploring the church to be in the photo!

SJC Youth play an active role in ministry life, and at the 9:30 am Mass this Sunday, we are going to recognize them! All members of our Youth Group, CYO, Altar Servers, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girls Scouts, Youth Choir and Junior Lectors are invited to celebrate another awesome year of service. After Mass, we'll meet by the playground for food and fun. Please join us outdoors even if you can't attend Mass. In case of rain, we'll be in the gym.🌞

We are happy to celebrate our SJC parishioners who are high school and college graduates in 2026.

Today we celebrate Mark Ball. Mark has been active in St. John's Youth Group for many years. He is a member of Strath Haven High School's Class of 2026 where he played varsity tennis and wrote for "The Panther Press" newspaper among other activities. He will be attending Franklin & Marshall College in the fall.

God bless you, Mark! The SJC community will pray for your future endeavors.

SJC has some parishioners graduating from high school and college this year, and we want to celebrate them and keep them in our prayers as they head into the future.

Today we celebrate Piper Riley, Mother of Providence Class of 2022 and a 2026 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School. She will be attending West Chester University to study Early & Special Education in the fall. God bless you, Piper!
