Our students were treated to a fun project over the weekend, when our congregant Stacey paid them a visit. Her Mom, Doris David, was an art teacher, and the children made one of her lessons in her remembrance. They talked about the different colors in the sky at sunrise, sunset and dusk, their aurora experiences, and then created their skies with watercolor wash. Everyone practiced with ink before making their beautiful landscapes. Each student made one to hang in the synagogue, and another to take home!
