WALLER, HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU?

Today from 11 AM to 1 PM, we’re opening our parking lot for Drive Thru Prayer.

You don’t have to get dressed up.
You don’t have to come inside.
You don’t have to be a member of our church.
You don’t even have to know what to say.

Just pull in, tell us what’s going on, and let us pray with you.

Maybe you’re believing for healing.
Maybe your marriage or family is struggling.
Maybe finances are tight.
Maybe you’re carrying something nobody else knows about.
Or maybe you just need someone to stand with you and remind you that God sees you.

Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to face it alone.

No pressure. No strings attached. Just people who love this community and believe in the power of prayer.

Yesterday was one of those Sundays you don’t forget.

We wrapped up Week 7 of our Stand Firm series as we talked about the Sword of the Spirit—the Word of God. We were reminded that the enemy fights with lies, but God has already given us a weapon. Every lie has an answer in His Word.

At the end of the message, I challenged our church with Paul’s words:

“After you have done everything… stand.”

I asked if there were any soldiers in the room who were willing to stand for Christ, stand for their families, stand for truth, and stand firm no matter what comes.

The altars filled with people making that decision.

Men.
Women.
Students.
Families.

People saying, “I’m done living on the sidelines. I’m all in.”

We also celebrated people saying yes to Jesus and beginning a brand new life in Him. There is no greater victory than that.

I’m so thankful for what God is doing at Local Church Waller. This isn’t about building a crowd. It’s about building disciples who know who they are in Christ and aren’t afraid to stand firm.

If you made that decision yesterday, remember this:

The battle is real. But so is our God.

Let’s keep standing.

Some Sundays remind you why we do this.

Last Sunday was Week 2 of our Stand Firm series as we unpacked the Belt of Truth and talked about the lies the enemy uses to keep people bound.

But Sunday wasn’t just information. It was transformation.

We watched people identify lies they’ve carried for years and replace them with God’s truth.

Strongholds were broken.
Chains lost their grip.
Truth exposed what darkness had hidden.

And most importantly…

5 people said YES to Jesus.

Five lives changed forever.
Five names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Five stories that will never be the same.

The enemy may be a liar, but God’s truth still sets people free.

We’re grateful.
We’re humbled.
And we’re believing this is just the beginning.

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 NIV

Come join us this Sunday as we unpack the Breastplate of Righteousness
