Let’s settle something before Bibles & Bagels tomorrow…

Are you team SWEET or team SAVORY? Cinnamon raisin with cream cheese? An everything bagel piled high? Or whatever’s left because you got the kids out the door and that’s enough of an accomplishment?

Tell us your favorite bagel and topping below!

Come have breakfast with us tomorrow at Grace at 10:00, then stay for worship at 10:45. We’ll be giving Bibles to the kids during worship, and we’d love for your family to join us!

Black licorice ( #8), on the other hand… absolutely. And Good & Plenty ( #9)? That’s just #8 in sheep’s clothing. We’re onto you.

We have a LOT happening at Grace over the next couple of months and we are so excited! Bible study, fellowship lunches, National Night Out, TNT, Bibles & Bagels, Trunk or Treat, All Saints Sunday…plus a brand-new sermon series beginning on World Communion Sunday (October 4th!).

We hope you will take a few minutes to read our latest newsletter, so you don’t miss anything. We would love to have you join us, bring a friend, lend a hand, or just come hang out with us.

We hope you will join us this Sunday as we continue our "Blessed, Broken, Given" series.

This week we focus on "Broken" where we talk about what it means to find Jesus in the circumstances that don't turn out how we had hoped. Often, we find Him when life feels a little broken.

Don't forget that you won't have to rush out for lunch after worship because we are having our Fellowship Lunch together. There is something special about gathering around a table with our church family, sharing a meal and slowing down to visit with one another. So, stay, eat, laugh, catch up, and enjoy some time with our church family.

If you are new to Grace, you are welcome to stay!! This is the perfect Sunday to come get to know us.

Words are powerful things.

They can make someone laugh.
They can give someone courage.
They can heal a hurt.

And sometimes, one careless sentence can do damage we never intended.

Tomorrow we begin our new Bible study, Wisdom for Everyday Life, and we're starting with something every one of us uses every single day: our words.

What does Proverbs teach us about the way we speak? How do we know when to speak, when to stay quiet, and how to use the voice God has given us to build others up instead of tear them down?

Happy Labor Day from Grace! 🇺🇸

Today we give thanks for the work of our hands, the gifts God has given us, and the many people whose work serves our families, our community, and one another.

Whether today is a day of rest or another day of work for you, we pray you find a moment to breathe, give thanks, and remember that even the ordinary work we do can become an offering to God.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

Grace Family, please take a moment to read this.

There are moments when simply showing up is one of the greatest ways we can love one another. This Saturday is one of those moments.

We have the opportunity to surround Wanda and the Canaday family with the love, prayers, and presence of their church family as we gather to honor and celebrate the life of our dear Fred Canaday.

We would love to see our Grace family there. AND wear your Astros shirt!!
