Looking for 27-Gallon Storage Bins – Can You Help?

Hey everyone! We are in need of 27-gallon storage bins to help with organizing and storing essential supplies. If you have any extra bins or are willing to donate, it would make a huge difference!

These bins are sturdy, stackable, and perfect for keeping everything safe and accessible. If you’d like to contribute, please comment below or message me directly. We have found that Costco and Sam's Club has the cheapest prices.

OCFC and Another Way Pregnancy Center are our missions of the month this month. Baby bottles are available at church to collect change for Another Way. Declutterring after Christmas is a great way to help the Foster Closet. You’ll be hearing more about their mission to help children in foster care and foster families as we go along. We’ll even bring your bags there!

De-Clutter message.....
Christmas is over, New Years is over and now it is time to DE-CLUTTER! Am I right? If you are in the same boat as us, let us give you some options:

Option 1: Bring your gently used, but still lots of love and life in them clothes to us on Mondays from 10-2 at 24400 Sinacola Ct, Farmington Hills MI 48335
Option 2: Your clothes that NO ONE is going to wear, you can pick up a pink bag from us OR you can put the items in a white bag with a big X on both sides and we will send it to Simple Recycling.
Option 3: You can do both!

We have been with Simple Recycling for over 5 years. We receive .08 cents per pound for the bags we give them, but more importantly, they are NOT going into a landfill. In addition, we are connected with www.donatestuff.com and we receive a financial donation of $1 each time someone selects us as their charity. The items don't come to us, but we receive between $800 - $900 per month from this program. If you need something picked up, please go to their site and select us as your charity partner.

Think of the possibilities! Schools, families, businesses, anyone that has stuff can donate it to us and we make money, while they have a cleaner space. You can stop by and pick up some pink bags or just use white garbage bags with a big X on it. We always appreciate your support, thank you!

YOU are the #1 influence and faith "passer" for your children. They watch and catch on to how you interact with Jesus and your attitude about church. Pass on the good stuff to them! Show them your love for Jesus and how you rely on Him! And that there's always room to learn and grow. We'll help and support you in that however we can!

“There comes a time - many times, actually - in the lives of our children where we have to put the basket in the water. We have to let go and trust the plan of the Father. The world is a scary place - a place where we fear our children could drown. But we must remember that we have to let go so that God can draw them from the waters for His great purpose. He has called us to be their parents, but they were His first.

My friend, whatever water you may be getting ready to put your basket into - remember that you have to put them in the water for God to draw them out and place them into His perfect plan. Though you might not be physically present with your child as much during the next phase of life, you can always petition the heart of the Father on their behalf.”

Movie night: 7-8:30 pm at Wixom campus

Come and watch Cars with us tonight in the big room at the Wixom campus from 7-8:30! Bring individually wrapped snacks to share for the junk food potluck!! Bring a blanket to sit on or camping chairs.

So far our play dates seem to be good indicators of rain! It’s currently raining and I’m sure the playground is soaking wet. We will try again another day.
