Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We give thanks for the love of the Holy Trinity and the gift of our faith.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Today, the Church celebrates the Memorial of Mary, Mother of the Church, observed every Monday after Pentecost.

Mary stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross, sharing in the suffering of Jesus with silent strength and total trust. When Christ entrusted her to the beloved disciple, He also entrusted her to the whole Church. From that moment, Mary became our spiritual Mother, caring for every believer with love and intercession.

As we begin Ordinary Time after Pentecost, Mary teaches us how to remain faithful in every season of life. She does not replace Jesus; she always points us to Him. In our struggles, confusion, weakness, and waiting, she shows us how to trust God’s plan and say yes with a faithful heart.

Mother of the Church, pray for us. Teach us to love Jesus more deeply and help us remain faithful always.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. May God grant eternal rest to the fallen, comfort to their families, and peace to our nation.

May the fire of Pentecost renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and fill us with the courage to live the Gospel each day.

Today, we honor not only biological mothers, but also grandmothers, guardians, sisters, aunts, and every woman who has shown genuine maternal care to others.

We also look to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as a perfect example of faith, humility, and unconditional love.

On this Mother’s Day, may all mothers be reminded of how precious and valued they truly are. May God bless them with strength, peace, and joy.

One year ago today, Pope Leo XIV greeted the world with the words: “Peace be with you.”

Let us continue to pray for the Holy Father as he faithfully shepherds the Church.

In the Catholic Church, the month of May is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

Why do Catholics honor Mary? Because everything about Mary points to Jesus. God chose Mary to be the mother of Christ, and her faithful “yes” made room for God’s plan to unfold in the world. She trusted Him completely, followed Him her entire life, and stood at the foot of the Cross.

We honor Mary not because she is divine, but because of what God has done through her. She is the first and best disciple—and a spiritual mother to us all.
Catholics do not worship Mary. Worship belongs to God alone. We honor her, ask for her prayers, and look to her example as we grow closer to Jesus.

May is a beautiful time to grow closer to Jesus by reflecting on the life and example of His Mother.

The tradition of May Crowning is a beautiful Catholic devotion that honors the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and Mother of the Church.

We place a crown of flowers on a statue of Mary as a sign of love, reverence, and gratitude. It’s a simple but powerful reminder of her special role in pointing us to Jesus.

Please consider joining us. Rosary and Adoration will follow.
