We took 24 teens to the 30th Shine Youth Rally, where they joined 700 other people from across the Diocese of Grand Rapids for a day of faith, fun, and a little friendly chaos. We heard an awesome talk from Paul J Kim, fueled up on enough pizza to power a small army, tackled a ninja course (some of us more gracefully than others), made some rosaries, and even got in some mini golf.

The best part? Coming face to face with Jesus during Eucharistic Adoration after a full day.

They did it! The Church is in good hands.

Congratulations to our 42 confirmation candidates who received the sacrament of confirmation at the this week! 🕊️

Please continue to pray for them – may they stay attentive to the quiet nudges of the Spirit in their daily lives, and may we, as a parish family, continue to support them with encouragement, joy, and a steady reminder that they are never alone in their faith.

Come, Holy Spirit! 🔥

Survivors ready? The challenge begins now.

This weekend, our Confirmation candidates gathered for Survivor: Called By Name, a retreat centered on remembering that we are known and chosen by God and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. We’re grateful for the time together, the leaders who showed up, and the moments of prayer and reflection shared throughout the day.

Confirmation is right around the corner on February 10. Please keep our candidates in your prayers as they prepare to take this next step in their faith journey.

Sign-ups opened Wednesday and are already halfway full. Only 10 spots left!

Fr. Tony is hitting the lanes with us for a night of bowling, laughs, and maybe a few prayers when the splits get real. Come see the Diocese’s most legendary smile in action and enjoy a great night together.

Spots are limited, so don’t wait. Email [email protected] to save your spot.

Let’s bowl!

It’s time for the ultimate showdown…PIZZA-LYMPICS

Four pizza places. One epic race. We order from ALL of them at the same time. The FIRST pizza to arrive gets crowned champion.

While we wait? Games. Competition. Chaos.

Bring your friends. Bring your appetite.

This is going to be chaotic in the best way.

I finished the Stranger Things finale over Christmas Break and I can’t get some things out of my head. Beneath the monsters and mayhem, Stranger Things is a story about spiritual warfare.

Turns out the Gospel shows up in unexpected places…even the Upside Down.

Went skating with High School Youth Ministry at Rosa Parks Circle.

Some skated with confidence. Some learned how to fall (and get back up). But every single teen got on the ice, and that’s what mattered.

Hot chocolate, lots of laughs, frozen yogurt, and a reminder that the journey of faith looks a lot like skating. We stumble, we fall, we help each other up, and we keep going… together.

Grateful for this community and the teens who keep showing up.

A few brave middle school students led praise & worship. We slowed down, and together, with Fr. Tony, we spent time face to face with Jesus. Grateful for a moment to pause in the middle of a busy season and simply be present. Come, let us adore Him
