Dear Waldwick UMC Family and Friends,
Grace and peace to you.

I warmly invite you to join us for worship this Sunday, May 24, as we gather to praise God and encourage one another in faith.

This Sunday’s message is titled “Go and Tell” based on John 4:28–30, 39–42 and Mark 5:18–20. Through the stories of the Samaritan woman and the man healed by Jesus, we will reflect on how God uses ordinary people to share extraordinary grace. We do not need perfect words or perfect lives to witness to Christ. We are simply called to tell others what the Lord has done for us.

There is someone who may need an invitation, a word of hope, or a place to belong this week. I encourage you to invite a friend, neighbor, or family member to worship with you.

Come and worship.
Come and be encouraged.
Come and hear the good news of Christ’s mercy and love.

Dear Friends,
Grace and peace to you.

I warmly invite you to join us for worship this Sunday as we continue our sermon series, Come and Tell: Sharing the Good News at the Table. This week’s message is titled “The Table Widens-The Open Invitation” based on Luke 14:15–24.

In this parable, Jesus reminds us that God’s table is wide open, filled with grace, mercy, and welcome. No matter who we are or where we have been, God invites us to come and receive the gift of grace. There is still room at the table.

During our worship service, we will also take time to give thanks for and bless our mothers and mother-figures as we celebrate Mother’s Day. We are grateful for the love, wisdom, and faith they have shared with us.

Come and be encouraged through worship, prayer, music, Scripture, and fellowship. And consider inviting a friend, neighbor, or family member to come with you.

Please note that there will be no worship service at our church on Sunday, May 17, as I will be attending the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference in Wildwood, New Jersey. Instead, you are warmly invited to join a joint worship service at Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church, 454 Pulis Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ, at 10:00 a.m.

We look forward to worshiping together and celebrating the goodness of God.

Grace and peace,
Rev. JongIn Lee

Dear Waldwick UMC Family and Friends,

Join us this Sunday as we begin our new worship series, Come and Tell: Sharing the Good News at the Table.

Together, we’ll hear how Jesus welcomes, gathers, and sends us to share God’s love with others. This is a wonderful time to pray for friends, family, neighbors, and others who do not currently attend church, and to invite them into worship with us.

We hope you’ll be with us as we begin this new season of faith, hospitality, and good news.

Dear Waldwick UMC Family,
Grace and peace to you.

I’d like to warmly invite you to join us for worship this Sunday as we continue in the joy of Easter. Our message is titled “Astounded Us” from Luke 24:13–35—the story of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus.

Have you ever had a moment that left you speechless—when life changed so suddenly that your heart couldn’t quite catch up? That’s what the disciples experienced on that first Easter day. Confused, overwhelmed, and uncertain, they walked away—only to discover that the risen Christ was walking with them all along.

In this service, we will reflect on how Jesus meets us in our own moments of confusion and hope, and how our eyes can be opened to his presence in unexpected ways.

Wherever you are in your faith journey—whether you feel certain, searching, or somewhere in between—you are welcome here.

Come and join us as we worship, pray, and open our hearts to the risen Christ who still walks with us today.

Dear Waldwick UMC Family and Friends,Grace and peace to you.

Easter joy is still with us—but if we’re honest, so are our questions. This Sunday, we’ll step into the story of Thomas, the disciple who said, “Unless I see… I won’t believe.” Maybe you’ve felt that way too.

In our worship, we’ll explore how doubt is not the opposite of faith, but often part of the journey. Through the story of Thomas, we’ll discover how Christ meets us in our questions, speaks peace into our uncertainty, and invites us into a deeper kind of belief—not just seeing, but being.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on: “Unless I See” (John 20:19–31)

Come as you are—with your faith, your doubts, your hopes, and your questions. There is a place for you here.
