🙏🏽Prayer for Our Troops

Heavenly Father,

We humbly come before You today, lifting up every troop who stands watch, every service member who walks into uncertainty, and every brave soul who defends our country.

Lord Jesus, place your hand of protection upon them wherever they are stationed, on land, at sea, and in the air. Be their shield in times of danger and their refuge in moments of fear. When they feel alone, remind them that You are near. When they feel weary, renew their strength. When they face difficult decisions, guide them with Your wisdom and peace.

Father, comfort their families who wait and pray at home. Fill their hearts with assurance, hope, and faith. Let love remain strong across every distance.

We thank You, Lord, for being our God and hearing our prayers. May Your presence surround them like a fortress, Your peace dwell within them, and Your light lead them home.

Today, we gathered in love to celebrate the beautiful life and legacy of Sister Anita Washington. What a powerful and heartfelt service it was — filled with worship, reflection, tears, and gratitude.

We were reminded that her life was a gift to so many, and her love, faith, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in our hearts. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Please continue to keep the Washington and Pickeral families lifted in prayer for strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

“Well done, thy good and faithful servant.” Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 💞
