A huge shout out and "Thank you" to the many volunteers who helped with our "Picnic for the Park" this last Wednesday night! With their helping hands and the generosity of almost 100 attendees, we were able to add $2469 to the Playground Equipment Fund! We can only say, "To God be the Glory!"

Due to the forecast for extreme heat and humidity, the "Picnic for the Park" will be held inside at the Waldorf Community Center. Plans for games, crafts and a great meal all remain the same! Please share this change with others. See you Wednesday night!

This Sunday, July 19th, First Lutheran will have services with Holy Communion at 10 a.m. (note time change from regular schedule). This will be Pastor Sipe's last service with us. Also part of the service will be a baptism and welcoming of a new member. Come...worship with us.

Then on Sunday afternoon there will be a appreciation and farewell reception for Pastor Sipe and Angie at the Waldorf Community Center from 2-4 pm. All are welcome.
