This beautiful lap blanket will be one of the raffle items at Waldoboro Pride on June 28. Everyone gets a free ticket, or can purchase more. This will be at the meal and street fair from 1-3 at Broad Bay Congregational United Church of Christ.

Remember you can make a day of it in Waldoboro. Have breakfast Perch Cafe and Bakery where a percentage of proceeds will go to Queerly ME.

Broad Bay Congregational United Church of Christ enjoy a free lunch, checking out groups such as Healthy Lincoln County and Sweetser's Support ME Peer Center. Join in a community craft, bounce house for kids, and just plain fun with friends (old and new). No Spring Chickens will start off an Open Mic and Erin from will lead some line dancing.

At 3 p.m., head over to The Waldo Theatre for the Maine Gay Men's Chorus. Pay what you can.

The evening will be filled with dance over The Waldoboro Inn with DJs .wav, and . This Tea Dance is free to attend, and free non-alcoholic drinks -- including tea! -- will be available. You may also purchase alcoholic beverages from Ida's Wine Bar.

Today we celebrated and we mourned. Allan is HOME!! With his husband Matthew. With his family and friends and church. With his pups. Thanks be to God and Make The Road and Alex and prayers and advocacy.

And he was incarcerated for 150 days. Kidnapped while doing the right thing. At a legal hearing for a green card. He was kidnapped. Moved around. Shackled. Treated like a criminal. Rather an animal. Because ICE could and did. He is strong. But he will never get those days back. He was treated inhumanely to intimidate the next person. I mourn that he came to a dream that turned into a nightmare. I mourn that there are thousands of people captured in cages. I mourn a nation of immigrants torturing immigrants in the name of the immigrant Jesus.

Today we celebrate. Tomorrow we fight with love.
