Congregation Beth Hillel בית הלל Where it's never too late to make Jewish traditions our traditions. Welcome to Congregation Beth Hillel, also known as the Walden Jewish Community Center.

This is our 70th year of welcoming Jewish families of all ages for the purposes of learning, holding services and celebrating the holidays. We are a small, friendly congregation located in Walden NY. Our current membership includes about 70 members (some family, some single) with a Religious School of 25-30 children including Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes. Our traditional services led by Nava Herzog

are user friendly and nourishing. If you are vacationing in the Hudson Valley or thinking of settling here, you are welcome to visit. Congregation Beth Hillel, while unaffiliated with any branch of Judaism, follows the Conservative Movement. We are committed to Jewish tradition and to the observance of mitzvot. Our services are both traditional and egalitarian. We keep a kosher kitchen serving pareve or dairy foods.
