Attention, Family and Friends of Walcott Lutheran and Gol Lutheran church..

📸 Confirmation Class Memories Preserved!
A bit of history: Gol and Walcott Lutheran Churches were founded in 1889 and shared a partnership until Gol Lutheran closed in 2002. When Gol closed, their confirmation pictures were transferred to Walcott Lutheran Church and have been on display along with Walcott confirmands since that time. These photos are a beautiful reminder of the shared legacy between our congregations. Now that Walcott Lutheran closed, these photos will be archived at the NDSU Institute for Regional Studies.

However, here is your chance to view these photos and save them. They are posted to the Shepherd of the Prairie website and will be available through December. After that date, the website will be taken down and they will no longer be online.

We don’t have many ways to reach everyone who might be interested in seeing these photos, so please help us spread the word! Share this post with all your friends or anyone who’d enjoy remembering these special moments from our church’s past.

HOLY CLOSURE worship will be held at 10 am on Sunday at Hickson. This is the final worship service at Hickson Lutheran. A catered lunch will be served following the service. All are welcome!
