Mt. Zion Baptist Church Mt. Zion Baptist Church is located in Walcott, Ar. We would love to have you all join us on Sundays for Sunday School 10 am and worship at 11 am. Glen Putman.

Wednesday services are at 6:30. At this time, our interim pastor is Bro.

Sunday Service 2/1/2026 Update

We will only be having our 11am worship service this Sunday. The main parking lot and sanctuary entrance are clear but side entrance is not. There will be no children’s church so please use only the front entrance. We hope to see everyone but please use your best judgement as our priority is for everyone to be safe.

Sunday Service Update: Because of inclement weather, all services and activities for tomorrow 1/25/2026 have been canceled. We encourage everyone to stay safe and use this time for rest and personal devotion. We look forward to gathering together next Sunday.

Matthew 25:23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’”

Even though today is one of the saddest days in the history of Mt. Zion, our congregation continues to give praise to our gracious God. We thank God for Bro. Greg Rainwater and his teachings. He and his family have blessed Mt. Zion beyond measure, and the service he gave to the church will continue to bring blessings. Our beloved pastor served faithfully with intention to fulfill, not only God’s will for his life, but for his church. We cannot thank Bro. Greg enough for the love he poured into our church family, the community, and all around the world. Please lift up in prayer his precious wife and daughter. He is loved and will be missed more than we can express.

On Sunday night, Sept. 20, we will be having a praise and worship music night on the front porch. Come out and listen to some music while glorifying our Savior! Will update when we know a time! ✝️

Yesterday evening at parking lot church we handed out 20 gift cards to our teachers to help with their classrooms and student needs this year. We pray that they have the best year and can bless those around them and that others see Christ’s love through their actions. We are praying for students and teachers everywhere this coming school year. 🙏🏼❤️🖤💛💚
