Wakefield Baptist Fellowship

Wakefield Baptist Fellowship Our Church In May 2011 the WBF was officially recognized as a Church Plant of the SWA.

In 2009, an effort to reach out to some of our neighbors in the Wakefield community resulted in two separate ministry programs that would later be encompassed into one ministry project called the Wakefield Baptist Fellowship (WBF). The "Fellowship" is a church plant endeavor out of Highland Baptist Church in Junction City, Kansas and is affiliated with the Southwestern Association (SWA) of the Nor

th American Baptist Conference (NAB). In August 2015 the WBF was accepted as a full member of the SWA and moved into its current location in September that same year.

Reminder...Worship Service time change takes effect this Sunday, May 10th, when we start meeting at 9:00am. Sunday School is at 10:30.

No youth group tonight...we will be celebrating with the WHS graduates at the Baccalaureate at 7pm.

Something new with the WBF; starting this Sunday, May 10th we begin our new worship service time at 9:00am, Sunday School immediately follows (around 10:30am). Hope you will join us.

Also...don't forget that this Sunday is also Mother's Day - make sure to do something nice for your mother!

Due to the cold weather, our morning 8am Sunrise Service will be moved back to the church (indoors). Please pass the word. Potluck, egg hunt and a baptism follow the service...no10:30am service today.

Good Friday Remembrance Service tonight (Friday, April 3rd) at 6:30pm.

Easter Sunrise Service, Sunday, April 5th at 8:00am in the Arboretum (in the event of bad weather, service will be moved the church). Immediately after the service, there will be a potluck brunch and baptism.

Friday, April 3rd @ 6:30pm, Good Friday Service
Easter Sunday, April 5th @ 8:00am in the Wakefield Arboretum, Sunrise Service (followed by Brunch, a baptism, and egg hunt back at the church).

Due to weather and road conditions we are going to cancel worship services for tomorrow, January 25th. We will reschedule our meeting and potluck for next Sunday.

Reminder for the Men's Study, Saturday (Jan 17th) at 830am. We will meet in the sanctuary and share in a light breakfast and the Word. Tomorrow will be our final lesson in the Beatitudes.

Reminder for the Men, our Tuesday Bible Study has moved to Saturdays and we are meeting this Saturday, January 10th @ 8:30am in the Fellowship Hall downstairs. Coffee and some breakfast items will be shared along with the Word. Hope to see you there.
