It’s time to gather items for our Christmas Shoeboxes! Our goal is 100 boxes to handout to local children and across the Nation. This is a great time to spend time with family by building shoeboxes. Please help us reach our goals! For information, please text 903.824.9879 for details!

Our Church, Village Community Church took Church to the Streets downtown Sunday. We loved on 36+ men, women and children just by simply feeding them, giving hot cups coffee and praying with them. While we were on site, they had a request of coats and jackets. We do our outreach once a month so we will be outside the Church doors again October 5th. We will hand out jackets and coats that Sunday. We humbly ask you to check your closets for gently used items to donate to them.

“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” Isiah 58:10

If you would like to join us on Sunday mornings for Outside the Pews Ministry, come on! Sunday October 5th 8:30 am. We do worship, give fresh donuts, hot coffee and prayers. Let’s hit the streets together 🤍🕊️

New Mission Alert!

These two boys have no school clothes. Both the parents have lost their jobs. I would like to take them school shopping for clothes and supplies to help kick start their school year. Or…If you feel led to help by donating any size clothing or shoes, please message and we can pick up for them. Keep this mission in your prayers 🤍🕊️

As most of our missions, we do not give cash so any cash donations, we will use to take them to pick out their own items.

Bringing Love, Food & Hope to Our Shut-In Seniors — Every Month!

📦 What We Do:
Each month, Village Community Church delivers grocery boxes full of essentials, encouragement, and prayer to elderly shut-ins in our community.

🫶 How You Can Help:
• Donate non-perishable groceries
• Sponsor a box with a $25 gift
• Join our packing team
• Volunteer to deliver boxes with a smile and a prayer

🛒 Items Needed Monthly:
• Canned soups & fruit
• Shelf-stable proteins (tuna, peanut butter, chili)
• Pasta, rice, dry beans
• Grits, oatmeal, crackers
• Toilet paper, soap, toothpaste
(No expired or open items, please)

Keep In mind that we want to gift Items that Is easy for them to make. They probably won’t be able to cook meals so keep that In mind. Often we think we have to give them “needs and not wants” but Its ok If we gift them with treats!

It’s that time again—kids are getting ready to head back to school, and we want to make sure every child is equipped for success!

We’re collecting school supplies and backpacks to bless local students through our Back-to-School Backpack Mission. Your donations will go directly to families in need right here in our community.
