Our Youth Music Mission Team has returned from an extended weekend of serving in partnership with Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC. We helped lead music & worship for Samaritan Ministries, Heritage Woods Senior Living, Brookridge Senior Living, and volunteered at the Winston Salem Rescue Misssion. We even had time to squeeze in a baseball game & fireworks! We concluded our weekend by leading in worship services at Ardmore Baptist Church. It was a great weekend of service, music, fellowship, and being the hands, feet, and voice of Christ!

Today, we celebrate and give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who have loved, guided, encouraged, and supported us. Thank you for the ways you reflect God’s love through your care, wisdom, and presence.

We hope all the dads in our WFBC family have a wonderful day filled with joy, love, and appreciation.

Our Youth Music Mission team is off to a wonderful start!

After rehearsing together, the team spent today serving in Winston-Salem — partnering with Samaritan Ministries, which provides safe housing, meals, and addiction recovery support for men experiencing homelessness.

The day continued with a time of music and worship at Heritage Woods Senior Living, where our students shared their gifts and brought joy through song.

What a beautiful reminder that music can be a way to serve, connect, and share God’s love. We’re grateful for this team and excited to see what God has in store next!

Annnd they're off! Wake Forest Baptist is teaming up with Ardmore Baptist Church for a Youth Music Mission trip serving the community of Winston-Salem. They're ready to lift their voices, lend a helping hand, and make a difference wherever they go!

WEE Care Camp is in full swing, and the kids are having a blast! Our campers are having fun being creative and using their imaginations. We love seeing them learn, play, and make special summer memories together. ☀️🌊
