Join us this Friday, April 3rd at 6:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Zebulon as we continue celebrating the Easter season with a special screening of Lamb of God—a beautiful concert film by Rob Gardner.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, family, and neighbors to experience the powerful message of the miracle and gift of Easter together. The film runs approximately 90 minutes.

Come a little early! We’ll gather at 6:00 PM in the cultural hall for fellowship—feel free to bring a plate of cookies to share.

We hope to see you there!

Welcome Creedmoor Ward!
What a special and joyful day! 💛
During ward conference on Sunday, March 22nd, President Will Thornton shared the exciting news that approval has been given for the creation of the Creedmoor Ward as part of the Wake Forest North Carolina Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What a blessing for this growing area!
John Baldwin will continue serving now as Bishop, alongside Jason M. Ganowsky as first counselor and Paxton M. Edwards as second counselor.
President Thornton expressed heartfelt thanks to all the members for their faith, prayers, and fasting that helped grow the branch into a ward. He also shared gratitude for the Savior’s love, grace, and power that made this moment possible by touching so many hearts.
It was also wonderful to sustain Lindsey McDonald as Relief Society president, with Catie Pomerenke as 1st counselor and Hope Peedin as 2nd counselor serving alongside her.
We look forward with excitement and faith to the future of the Creedmoor Ward.

"We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199)."

The First Presidency

As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:

"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"

"He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6).

This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives!

The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, "the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace "which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7) and "be perfected in him" (Moroni 10:32).

We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199).

During the recent Wake Forest Community Conference for Christ (Stake Conference) Stake Relief Society President Alli Glorious shared her testimony of Jesus Christ. This is an excerpt. To read her full talk visit https://wakeforeststake.org/news/faith-before-fear-how-christs-atonement-transforms-our-hardest-seasons Wakeforeststake.org and learn more.

There was a season when everything in my life seemed to shift at once. I felt angry, confused, embarrassed—and stuck. Even with daily prayers to my Heavenly Father, I struggled to find balance. But in that tender season, God called me to serve and lead other women who were feeling the very things I was battling. Through that calling, I learned to place faith before fear and to rely on the enabling power of His Atonement.

As David A. Bednar taught, we can seek strength to change our circumstances rather than just praying for our circumstances to change. I know this is true. I have seen how Christ can take broken pieces and restore them with beauty and purpose.

If you’re carrying burdens today, I invite you to lean into His grace and discover the strength that comes through Him.
