Our Holy Father, Pope Francis has asked the faithful to join him in praying the rosary today at 10:00am HST. We offer this rosary for the protections of our families. Where ever you are what ever you are doing let us stop and pray. May the maternal protection of our Blessed Mother keep us safe in this difficult time. St. Damien, Pray for us! St. Marianne Cope, Pray for us! St. Michael, Pray for us! St. Joseph, Chaste Spous of the Virgin Mary, Pray for us! Our Lady Queen of Peace, Pray for us!

Many times in the past, people have been using profile pictures to raise awareness towards good causes or to simply make a statement. Is there a better message out there than how great God loves us?

As we prepare to celebrate the Sacred Triduum, EPIC Ministry would like to invite everyone to "go dark" in our FaceBook/Instagram campaign. Participation is easy! Just simply follow the steps below:

Step 1: Starting on Holy Thursday (3/29/2018) blackout your profile picture by replacing it with this photo or a similar template.

Step 2: Caption it with . Optional: Tag your friends!

Step 3: On Easter Day, change your profile picture back or, even better, replace it with an entirely new one to represent new life with the resurrection!

It is our hope that as we get as much participation as we can so it would be "epic" if you spread the word! It would be a great tool to evangelize and remind the world that there is "no greater love than to lay down one's life for a friend."

November's almost over, but check out what's been going on in EPIC Ministry as of late!

     When was the last time you doubted or feared anything? This morning? Yesterday? I doubt quite frequently. I never knew how much this weighed on my faith life until my first year of graduate school. I was insecure about what God wanted me to do. I doubted my vocation, schooling, and career path....

Two events this month for young adults that we are advertising... (1) PUBLIC ROSARY In conjunction with 'America Needs Fatima'. People across the US will be praying the Rosary in public squares at noon on October 11. Join the Leeward Vicariate in a public rosary outside of the Cathedral Basilica following the Mass to celebrate the new title of the Cathedral and 5 year anniversary of the Sainthood of Fr. FINAL REMINDER: The next vicariate meeting will be TOMORROW, August 5, at 7:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Church (Aiea) for youth ministries.

Every parish is encouraged to send a delegation of the following representatives to our youth ministry meetings:

2 - Youth representatives
1 - Youth minister (coordinator)

We hope to, however, have at least one youth minister/representative from each parish. Our goal is to have full participation from all our vicariate parishes at this meeting!
