Aloha Pu’uiki Cemetery Waialua family!

This Saturday, May 24, the Haleiwa Shingon Mission will be doing their annual clean up of several cemeteries which include Pu’uiki Cemetery.

Evidently, they along with Haleiwa Jodo Mission have been doing this for many years.

PLEASE SHARE AND HELP US GET THE WORD OUT.

The Point LLC. and North Shore Stables aree re-installing a gate at the entrance on Waialua Beach Rd. (See photo. This is looking towards Waialua Beach Rd. From inside) Work will probably be done by this weekend.

Puuiki Cemetery Waialua, addressed this issue with a Cease and Desist letter in 2022 because we received reports of people visiting from the mainland who were denied access and told they had to make arrangements with North Shore Stables Management to access the cemetery.

THIS IS A FALSHOOD. Puuiki Cemetery Waialua has an easement and therefore have the legal right to access the cemetery.

If you encounter problems visiting Puuiki Cemetery Waialua, please do the following:
1. File a police report.
2. Share the police report # with us via email [email protected]

We will then follow through with the maximum legal recourse the law allows.

Aloha! Puuiki Cemetery is open for visitors from 7am to 5:30 pm daily.

While we re-organize and create a new path forward for the cemetery’s management and preservation, acts like walking your dogs, doing archery, hanging out drinking or anything else not related to gravesite visit or assisting with Cemetery maintenance, will be considered as trespassing.
