Our thoughts are with Fr Rick’s family at this time.

It is with great sorrow that I let you know that Fr. Rick Brewer transitioned this life just after 11:00am Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026. Rick was surrounded by so much love with Angela and his children. I was able to be with the family at various times throughout the morning, as were Deacon Nancy and Deacon Alan Barrow at St Dunstan's. Please keep Angela and their family in your prayers.

The Burial Mass will be held at St. Dunstans Episciopal Church (5635 E. 71st St, Tulsa) on Friday, February 6th at 2:00 pm.

Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our brother Rick into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let his heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please know I am available for you if you need to talk. We walk this road together!

We want to thank the Wagoner community for all the donations in support of the warming shelter. Any leftover items will be saved for future emergencies. Thank you all so much, from businesses and individuals, it all made a difference to those who needed respite from the cold.

WINTER WEATHER - EMERGENCY WARMING SHELTER INFORMATION

St James will be opening at 5pm Friday, January 23 and will operate as an emergency shelter until Tuesday morning. Those without shelter or adequate shelter are welcome.

DONATIONS: individual snacks and drinks, paper plates, napkins, disposable cups, coffee grounds and filters, sugar and creamer are needed. We can only accept monetary donations in person at this time.

We are making arrangements for meals, with the understanding that travel will not be advised. Overnight volunteers are at critical need.
