What does it take to help this kid, in this place, in this time, meet Jesus? It's what we do. It's a front row seat to a great God show!

From the very beginning in 2005 this ministry was specifically targeted to what you might call the "troubled" youth wandering around the downtown area. We specifically target them because we believe that no one else is and that they will never hear about Christ's love and sacrifice for them unless we bring that news to them. To do that, we use the model that Christ used when ministering to people:

accepting them exactly where they were (bad habits and all), and offering them redeption through a relationship with Himself. Jesus does not clean people up before He loves them. Their relationship with Him changes their hearts. Our mission is to introduce these teens to Christ and then let Him change them from the inside out. It is a slow and often a rocky road but is ultimately the change is authentic.

The most frequently requested item at our teen clothing room at Garage Ministry AND when we are passing supplies out to our houseless friends....H.O.O.D.I.E.S.!!..and I wear them daily so I get it!!

Please consider dropping off any gently used hoodies you are donating to Garage Ministry, red donation door, 126 N Pardee.

💃🏻🕺🏼 Homecoming is right around the corner for our WHS students as well as for several other schools around the area!
While we don’t carry formal wear at Marian’s Closet, our friends over at The Garage (YFC Wadsworth) have several homecoming/prom dresses, suits, and shoes for teens on hand! 🙌🏻
✨ All you have to do is reach out to Laurie Beal at The Garage and set up a time to find you/your teens perfect fit for a beautiful evening ✨

✨If you have formal wear you’d like to donate, you can bring them over to us during our open hours and we’ll make sure we get them over to The Garage 💕
