New name, same night! Join us TONIGHT from 6:30-8pm for the next meeting of our Connect 5-6 midweek ministry for kids in 5th and 6th grade! Our gatherings consist of connecting through hangout time and games along with discipleship through large group teaching time and in smaller growth groups led by at least one adult leader. We'll meet twice a month on Tuesdays of most months throughout the school year so, kids, don’t forget to spread the word and invite your 5th and 6th grade friends! Visit https://thefreshwater.church/connect5-6/ to register your kids the first night they attend!

Reality 139 is all about creating a place for connection. Sharing a meal is the perfect time for our students and leaders to catch up and build relationships. With a weekly meal every Sunday evening, the Gen Now Youth Ministry team could use some help! Are you able to provide sides, desserts or other food for an upcoming gathering? Visit https://thefreshwater.church/food/ to see how you can contribute!

Jesus calls every follower to become a disciple who makes disciples. At Freshwater, the disciplemaking pathway gives us a next step — whether you are seeking Jesus, growing in faith, looking for community, or desiring to go deeper with a small group of people. The pathway includes Outreach, Fresh Groups, Community Groups, and Discipleship Groups. Visit https://thefreshwater.church/pathways/ to fill out the interest form to let us know where your next step on the disciplemaking pathway might be. Completing the form does not commit you to anything right now but simply gives us an idea of where on the pathway you would best grow or serve in your current season of life.

Let’s celebrate Veterans Day by taking a trip to the Maps Museum on Friday, October 16. To be able to enjoy the aircraft on the outside of the museum, we’ve moved up the date before the weather changes. ✈️

The carpool will leave the church by 8:45am; our 2-hour guided tour will cost each of us $13, payable that day. If we have a group of 15 or more our cost will be reduced to $10.

Visit https://thefreshwater.church/maps/ to register so we have a count before we leave.

We have a mission: make disciples, but we cannot fulfill it in our own strength. Jesus promises us His presence, and the Holy Spirit gives power for the work. The Spirit comes before fruitful ministry; He convicts, teaches, empowers gospel witness, gives new life, and grows us. Our role is simple: notice where God is already working and join Him in the work. This week, surrender control, confess, repent, and ask the Father for more of the Holy Spirit. Come expecting His presence to form Christlike fruit and empower your calling. Visit https://thefreshwater.church/2026/10/spirit-filled/ to watch the full sermon replay and read the reflection questions to consider.
