First Baptist Church of Wadesboro, NC We strive to welcome all in the love of Christ Jesus. Relationships holds us together and we're always ready to build new ones.

We receive into membership all who follow Jesus—regardless of race, gender, national origin, or sexual orientation. First Baptist Church of Wadesboro, NC gathers for worship each Sunday morning at 11:00 am in our beautiful, traditional sanctuary. We strive, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to worship our loving God through thoughtful and creative worship elements which glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ. We practice believer’s baptism as well as honor the baptisms of those who come to us from other Christian traditions. We affirm women in ministry and have ordained women as
deacons and ministers of the gospel. We believe relationships are at the heart of the Gospel story . . . relationships with God through Christ, and relationships with one another. We highly value intergenerational ministry and welcome people of all ages to join us on our faith journey.

We enjoyed hosting the Anson High School football team today as we do each year for their first home game.

This tradition began under the leadership of the late Gene Ward, an FBC Wadesboro member who desired that our church find a way to directly support the local high school football team. A dedicated group of FBCW folks makes sure that Gene's tradition continues each year.

A big thank you goes to all who helped make today's ministry a good one. And kudos to the coaches and assistants for your leadership. Your players were polite and grateful. Go Bearcats!
