“Marriage Is a Covenant Between Man, Woman, and God”

🎯 INTRODUCTION

Marriage is under attack in our generation. Society redefines what God has already defined. As Bible believers, we must stand upon the authority of God's Word rather than the opinions of culture.

In the Dispensational truth, marriage is not a means of salvation, nor is it part of Israel's covenant program. It is a divine institution established by God before the Law, before Israel, and before the Body of Christ. Therefore, its definition remains unchanged.

God designed marriage from the beginning.

Only God could take a past full of mistakes and turn it into purpose. We are truly grateful for ministries like the Richmond County Rescue Mission that are doing real boots on the ground work for the Kingdom. They are not just preaching behind four walls. They are feeding people in the streets, helping those battling addiction, housing the homeless during freezing winter nights, helping with job placement, trade school opportunities, and opening their doors to anyone truly looking for hope and change through Jesus Christ.

This is the kind of ministry work that reaches broken people where they are. We are honored for the opportunity to come and share what God has placed on Pastor Johnny’s heart this Sunday morning. If you know somebody struggling, tired, lost, battling addiction, or simply needing a fresh start… bring them. Jesus still changes lives. 🙌🏾

God changed my life! I was a mess! I am a felon! I have tattoos! I was a womanizer! I was a drug dealer! I have hurt people with my lies! But there is a God who gave me grace and mercy. Hallelujah, I was forgiven!

Thank you Jesus for true repentance! The Holy Spirit dwells in me now, and I’m not ashamed to tell the world what God brought me out of.

Some people only see my past, but God saw purpose in me even when I was destroying myself. The same mouth that once lied now speaks truth.

The same hands that once did wrong now lift up the name of Jesus. I know what it feels like to be broken, lost, angry, prideful, and empty. That’s why I have a heart for people who feel like they’ve gone too far. Nobody is too dirty for the mercy of God. If a person truly wants to surrender, repent, and let Jesus change their life, there is still hope.

In a world full of people pretending to have it all together, this message is a reminder that Jesus came for the broken, the hurting, the discouraged, and the hopeless.

So many people are spiritually exhausted trying to “look saved” while secretly fighting battles nobody sees. But the truth is, none of us have fully arrived. No matter how much we study, read, preach, or know… we are all still a work in progress.

Pastor Johnny reminds us not to become so religious that we lose compassion, humility, and the true heart of Jesus. As believers, we are all pilgrims on a journey of faith, called not only to grow closer to God ourselves but also to reach out to others with love, grace, and truth. Outreach is part of our mission—to meet people where they are and remind them that Jesus still saves, heals, and restores.

This message may challenge you, correct you, heal you, or encourage you… but one thing is certain: we all still need God every day.

For the month of May, The POJC Church has taken a sabbatical from the church building to seek God, rest, reset, and prepare for what’s next. This is not quitting. This is wisdom.🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾💙

We are partnering with Proverbs 22:6 to serve children and families impacted by parental incarceration.💙💙💙

This ministry exists to help restore families, encourage children, and bring hope to those walking through one of the hardest seasons of their lives.

💙What we will do....

✅Feed families
✅Serve with compassion
✅Pray with those who desire prayer
✅Encourage children and parents
Help create a peaceful, loving environment
✅Represent Jesus with kindness, patience, and respect

💙Why this is important.....

Many children are growing up with one or both parents in prison. These families need support, hope, love, and people willing to show up.

💙This is not just volunteer work.
This is ministry. We will be there every 4 th Saturday May-August.

The resurrection was never meant to be something we only talk about once a year and then go back to living lukewarm, compromising, fleshly, and bound the rest of the time. No, this is supposed to be a real lifestyle of dying to self, repenting for real, walking in obedience, and showing evidence that Jesus actually changed us. A lot of people celebrate the resurrection but do not live resurrected lives. That is the problem. We know how to honor a moment, but we do not always know how to live the message. So for us, the resurrection is not just an event, and it is not just a tradition. It is our everyday walk.
