THE MOST DANGEROUS RESPONSE TO GOD’S VOICE IS “NOT TODAY.”
Psalm 95:6–8 begins with worship: bow down, kneel before the Lord, remember that He is our God and we are the sheep of His hand.
Then comes the warning:
“Today, if you will hear His voice: Do not harden your hearts.”
Every time God speaks, we have a choice. We can respond—or we can resist.
A hardened heart doesn’t always reject God loudly. Sometimes it simply keeps postponing obedience. We hear the conviction. We know what God is saying. But we keep telling ourselves, later.
Scripture says today.
If He is calling you to repent, repent.
If He is calling you to forgive, forgive.
If He is calling you back to Him, come back.
If He is telling you to obey, don’t tune Him out.
When God speaks, the right response is not later. It’s obedience.
