ALONGSIDE AT WADE BAPTIST CHURCH

Calling all moms in our community!

We’re excited to introduce Alongside, a new open gym mom group created for moms who are looking for connection, encouragement, fellowship, and genuine friendship as we navigate motherhood together.

Our first gathering is:

Monday, September 14
9:00–11:00 am
Wade Baptist Church - Gym

The idea is simple: bring your kiddos, let them play, and come hang out with other moms. There’s no pressure, no expectations, and you don’t have to already know anyone. Just come as you are and enjoy a welcoming space to connect, laugh, talk, and encourage one another.

Whether you’re new to the area, looking for some mom friends, or simply need to get out of the house and spend some time with other adults, we’d love for you to join us!

Open to the entire community.

Invite a friend, share this post, or tag a mom who could use a little connection and encouragement.

We believe we were never meant to do motherhood alone. We hope Alongside can be a place where moms can come together, build friendships, and remind one another that we’re in this together.

Yesterday, Pastor Randy continued our series, A Whole New World... Life in the Kingdom of God - Sermon on the Mount, as we looked at what Jesus teaches about meekness.
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”
Matthew 5:5 (NIV)
The world may see meekness as weakness, but Jesus shows us something different. Meekness is strength under control, rooted in trusting God rather than always trying to take control ourselves.
As we begin a new week, may we choose to walk with humility, trust God, and let Him lead.
