Paul knew that he was headed for imprisonment and suffering, but he was insistent on staying the course, walking forward in faith that God would redeem his suffering, and confident that his brief time of suffering was worth it when compared to the glory that was waiting for him when Jesus returns.

There are moments and times in the Bible when the power and glory of the Kingdom of Heaven break through. When we see the Kingdom breaking through, we should be reminded and encouraged that His Kingdom *will* come, His will *will* be done, here on earth, as it is in heaven.

Because Jesus is the only way, when we preach Jesus we will creat conflict, but conflict isn't something is pursue or engage in. Rather, we trust that it is Jesus who will accomplish all that needs to be accomplished: he will grow his church, he will bring his people home, and he will see his kingdom come, here on earth as it is in heaven.
