Dads, you don’t have to be perfect just be a dad who points his family in the right direction.

Dads, spiritual leadership doesn’t have to be complicated.

• Pray with your family before meals.

• Read a few verses of Scripture together each day.

• Talk about God during everyday moments.

• Worship together on Sundays.

• Let your kids see you repent, forgive, and trust Christ.

• Bless your children with encouraging words and prayer.

Your family doesn’t need a perfect dad. They need a dad who consistently points them to Jesus.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

What if MMBC fully embraced our mission of loving God, loving people, and making disciples through intentional evangelism?

It would change more than our Sundays, it would shape our everyday lives. Worship wouldn’t end at the service, love wouldn’t stop at the doors, and evangelism wouldn’t be an event, it would be a lifestyle. Discipleship wouldn’t be a program, it would be who we are.

A church alive in mission doesn’t just gather well, it goes well.

Stay in the Word.

Read it. Meditate on it. Live it.
Let Scripture shape your thoughts, steady your heart, and guide your steps each day.

God’s Word doesn’t just inform us, it transforms us.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Following Jesus means walking a path that often runs counter to the culture around us. Faithfulness to God’s Word and living with biblical conviction will, at times, lead to misunderstanding, rejection, or even opposition. But this should not surprise us nor should it discourage us. We were never called to fit in with the world, but to be conformed to Christ.

Keep pressing on.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:16–18:

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

Paul wrote these words in the midst of deep suffering and ministry hardship. Yet he calls our present trials “light” and “momentary” not because they are painless, but because they are temporary and purposeful. God is using them to prepare us for something far greater: an eternal weight of glory that cannot be measured or compared.

So don’t lose heart. Fix your eyes not on what is visible and fleeting, but on what is unseen and eternal.

Never quit. Never give up. Keep moving forward by God’s grace and for His glory.

Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” John 15:18-19

Jesus never promised His followers acceptance from the world. In fact, He lovingly warned us that faithfulness to Him would often bring opposition. Why? Because those who belong to Christ have been “chosen out of the world” (John 15:19). Our values, our hope, and our allegiance are no longer shaped by the world, but by our Savior.

Church family, when you feel pressure to compromise, discouragement for standing on truth, or rejection because of your faith, remember this: you belong to Jesus. The same Savior who was rejected by the world walks with His people still today.

So stand firm. Love boldly. Speak graciously. Walk faithfully. And take heart knowing that being identified with Christ is worth far more than being accepted by the world.
