St Francis on the Brazos Mass Schedule: Sat/sábado: 7:00 p.m. Sun/Domingo: 8a.m., 9:30 CCE Mass 10:30am. & 12:00 p.m. Eucharist Adoration Tuesdays 6:00p.m. By 1931, St. Francis.

Weekdays/Días de semana (Spanish): Martes 7:00 p.m. & jueves 12:00pm (English) Wed 7:00 p.m. In 1924, Franciscan missionaries came to Texas from Mallorca, Spain and established a mission in Waco, which was to minister to the spiritual needs of the Hispanic population of this area. Francis Church on the Brazos was built. In later years the walls were decorated with paintings representing the Statio

ns of the Cross and the glorification of St. The church is a replica of the historically important San Jose Mission in San Antonio, Texas. Saint Francis on the Brazos, enriched with beautiful paintings, is one of the most exquisite and attractive churches of Texas. It is the religious center of thousands of Hispanics in Central Texas, as well as the hub of their educational and social activities. As in its architecture it is a happy combination of the American advanced early 20th century methods of construction with the colorful characteristics of the Spanish Mission style, in its activities it strives also to combine the color, the faith, and the gracefulness of the Spanish element with the best values of the American life.

¡Bienvenidos a la casa del Señor! The doors of the Church are open all day for those who may want to stop by for prayer or just to enjoy the parish beautiful architecture and art. We welcome in a special way to out-of -town visitors. Our Church offers Mass times to meet the needs of everyone. We also provide special celebrations throughout the year. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 graduates! We are proud of your hard work and accomplishments and pray for God’s blessings as you begin this new chapter.
We would also like to recognize this year’s Raymond and Mary Navarro Scholarship recipient, Lizeth Gonzalez. Congratulations, Lizeth! A heartfelt thank you to the Navarro family for joining us and for the lasting impact they continue to make in the lives of the youth in our community.

Esta tarde nos reuniremos ante el Santísimo Sacramento para dar gracias a Dios por los 800 años de la Regla Franciscana y renovar nuestro compromiso de seguir a Cristo al estilo de San Francisco.

This evening we will gather before the Blessed Sacrament to thank God for the 800th Anniversary of the Franciscan Rule and renew our commitment to follow Christ in the spirit of St. Francis.
