“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said…” Matthew 28:6

The cross changed everything!

Jesus stepped into our brokenness, carried our sin to the cross, and on the third day, He rose.

Sin forgiven. Death defeated. Love made a way.

And now, we follow Him into places of need, into communities rebuilding, into lives still waiting for hope — carrying the hope of the resurrection wherever we go. ✝️❤️‍🔥

As we look back on this year, we remember the faithfulness of God. 🇲🇲🇹🇭🇺🇦🇮🇱🇺🇸🇯🇲

In places marked by disaster, conflict, and need, He made a way. Through the Church, His love reached thousands with tangible care and the hope of the gospel. Every number tells a story. Every life impacted reflects His kindness.

We go where the need is; we stay for the long haul.

We are grateful for all that God has done and expectant for all that is ahead. Thank you for being part of this work.

Four years in, this is still the reality in Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Families are still displaced. Children are still carrying trauma. Churches are still under pressure. Communities are still rebuilding.

And the work is far from done.

This summer, we’re continuing to send teams on the ground to strengthen and invest in the next generation.

We’re currently looking for:
• A photographer to join our Ukraine Youth Camp (July 26–28)
• Team members for our English Immersion Camp (July 23–August 5)

If you’re trained as an Acts of Mercy First Responder, check VOMO for current deployment opportunities.

Not trained yet? You can get started at the link in our bio.

Before the headlines, we’ve been preparing.

Over the past eight months, our Executive Director, Kevin Johnson, has been intentionally building and strengthening relationships with trusted, like-minded partners in the region and around the world in preparation for a moment like this.

Hear from him as he shares the heart behind our response to what’s unfolding in Iran.

We are praying that His kingdom would come, His will would be done in Iran and the Middle East, as it is in heaven. 🇮🇷

Pray, give, and go with us at the link in our bio.

In prayer gatherings with our partners over the past weeks, Ezekiel 47 has continued to rise to the surface. The prophet saw water flowing from beneath the threshold of the temple — from the very presence of God. What began as a small stream became a river that could not be crossed, and wherever it flowed, life sprang up.

As the Iranian regime weakens and internal instability deepens, the nation stands at a fragile crossroads.
So we are praying for deeper waters over Iran —
for the steady presence of God in a time of national shaking,
for resilience and courage within the Church,
for protection over households and communities,
and for the hope of Jesus to rise where foundations feel uncertain.

Looking for a practical way to serve communities in the Middle East right now?

For just $10, you can sponsor a shelter bag for a child in Israel.

As missile attacks continue across the country, families are spending long hours in shelters. While the physical danger is real, the emotional toll, especially for children, can be overwhelming. Many experience fear, panic attacks, and other stress responses as sirens sound and families rush to safety.

Through our team on the ground and with the local church, Acts of Mercy International is helping assemble and distribute shelter bags for children and families taking refuge during these attacks.

Each bag is filled with simple, trauma-informed supplies designed to help distract, regulate, and comfort children while they wait in shelters. Items may include snacks, water, sensory activities, small toys, playdough, art supplies, flashlights, first aid items, stuffed animals, and hygiene supplies.

Beyond meeting practical needs, our teams are also showing up with the love and compassion of Jesus — offering prayer, presence, and encouragement to families in the midst of crisis.

You can sponsor a bag through our Israel/Gaza Fund in our bio.

This is how we began the year — in Kyiv, Ukraine, serving families living in the middle of war. Five of us packed and delivered Christmas boxes alongside our local partners in the city and a nearby village. We are so grateful for the time to minister both practically and through our presence. 🫂🇺🇦
