Today we celebrate the beautiful Solemnity of Corpus Christi — the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

What love is this, that Christ remains with us, feeds us, heals us, and draws us into communion with Him and one another?

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” — John 6:56

St. Jerome was blessed to host 40 diaconate aspirants and their wives throughout the Diocese of Austin this past weekend. During the formation session, we were grateful to welcome Father Michael Noriega from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, who presented on “Prayer and Temperament.”

Deacons play a vital role in the life of the Church, and we are thankful for these men who are discerning a call. A special thank you to Father James, Carl, and all those who helped support and make the weekend a success.

Please join us in praying for these aspirants and their wives as they continue their journey of discernment and formation. May the Holy Spirit guide them and grant them wisdom, peace, and courage in following God's call.

Adoration & the Liturgy of the Hours
Join Us for First Friday Worship

Friday, June 5
Rosary: 11:30a
Mass with Anointing of Sick: 12:15p
Adoration: 1:00p to 6:00p
Vespers: 6:00p

Did You Know? The Church Has Been Praying Vespers for Nearly 2,000 Years.
Long before evening routines were filled with television, phones, or endless schedules, Christians gathered as the sun began to set to offer praise and thanksgiving to God. This prayer became known as Vespers, or Evening Prayer, one of the most beautiful treasures of the Church.

Why the evening? As daylight fades, Vespers reminds us to pause and recognize God’s presence in the blessings, struggles, and ordinary moments of the day. It is a sacred moment to thank God, seek His mercy, and rest in His peace.

Vespers offers something rare: a chance to slow down, pray with the Church, and end the day centered on Christ.

We are recruiting disciples to help us during this Sacrament exposition. Will you please sign up to ensure that Jesus will not be left alone?
