If God has called us into service, His empowering will certainly be sufficient to overcome exhaustion and weariness of soul. Won’t it?

I looked for encouragement in Matthew 4:11 and Luke 22:43. In both instances, God sent angels to supernaturally refresh, restore, and replenish Jesus.

Hebrews 4:15 says Jesus is a High Priest who understands the feelings of our infirmities. He knows there are times when we’re so exhausted and weary, we too need a fresh touch from Heaven.

Jesus served His Father perfectly, yet there were still low points in His life when He needed a supernatural touch of God—in order to avoid burnout.

As the angel came and strengthened Him, Jesus was enabled to continue! Listen to me. Ask God to give you a fresh touch from Heaven. Push toward the finishing line. Worn out, poured out, but not burned out! Strong to the finish!

This album was such a special project for so many reasons, and as we celebrate 30 years we truly never take for granted the gift of making music and doing ministry together.
