We as Seveneth-day Adventists have been taught that the leopard-like or composite beast of Revelation 13:1-10 simply refers to the papacy but can it be that this complex beast refers to much more than just the papacy? Former Caroilinas Conference President, E.T. Wilson, explains in this many years old article.

This first beast of Rev. 13 is a successor to the four beasts of Dan. 7, as indicated by its likeness to all of them, clearly seen by horns, feet, body, and mouth. In other words, it is rightly called a composite beast.
