Church Under the Bridge Church Under the Bridge began in 1993 in Waco as a Bible study for the poor and marginalized. Everyone is welcome!

Today it is a church of over 200 culturally diverse worshippers still meeting each Sunday morning under the I-35/S.4th St bridge.

We just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to the amazing youth worship band that joined us at Church Under the Bridge this last Sunday! ❤️🎶🙌

What a blessing it was to have these young men and women come share their gifts, their hearts, and their passion for Jesus with our church family. Their energy was contagious, their worship was genuine, and they helped lead us into an incredible time in God's presence.

Watching young people boldly use their talents to glorify God is something special, and we are so grateful they chose to spend part of their Sunday with us.

These videos are just a small glimpse of what God was doing under the bridge. The worship was powerful, the atmosphere was filled with joy, and lives were being touched.

What a Sunday at Church Under the Bridge! 🙌🔥

The morning started early, with small groups gathering under the bridge as early as 8:30 AM. Conversations were happening, relationships were growing, and people were diving into God's Word before worship even began.

A huge THANK YOU to Central Christian Church for coming out, serving an amazing meal, and providing sack lunches for everyone after church. We are so grateful for your generosity and your heart to serve our community. ❤️

The worship was absolutely on fire! 🔥🎶 The youth worship band that joined us brought incredible energy, passion, and talent. It was such a blessing to watch young people use their gifts to lead others into the presence of God.

The preaching was powerful, encouraging, and exactly what so many of us needed to hear. God was definitely moving.

Meanwhile, our children were having a great time in the trailer, learning about Jesus in ways they can understand and apply to their lives. Seeing the next generation grow in their faith is always one of the highlights of our Sundays.

And if that wasn't enough, I looked around and saw our youth gathered in a circle, having youth group, building friendships, and growing together in Christ.

That's what Church Under the Bridge is all about....worship, community, discipleship, serving others, and making room for everyone.

If you missed it this week, don't worry... we're doing it all again next Sunday! 😄

Same bridge. Same Jesus. Same amazing community. And who knows what God has planned next?

Happy Father's Day from Church Under the Bridge

Today we celebrate and honor fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, adoptive fathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and all the men who faithfully love, guide, protect, and encourage those around them.

Being a father is more than a title, it is a calling. It is found in the everyday moments: the sacrifices no one sees, the prayers whispered late at night, the lessons taught through example, and the steadfast love that points children toward Christ.

God's Word reminds us:

"As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him." — Psalm 103:13

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Today we thank God for the men who lead with humility, love with patience, and serve with faithfulness. We also recognize that Father's Day can be difficult for some, those who have lost their fathers, those who long to be fathers, and those carrying wounds from broken relationships. May you find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father sees you, loves you, and never leaves your side.

To all the dads and father figures in our Church Under the Bridge family and throughout our community: thank you for the impact you make every day. Your love, strength, and faith matter more than you know.

May God bless you, guide you, and fill you with His wisdom as you continue to lead those He has entrusted to your care.

Today was an incredible day for Church Under the Bridge as we had the honor of participating in the Waco Juneteenth Parade!

We had so much fun walking alongside our community, sharing smiles, celebrating freedom, and enjoying the energy and joy that filled the streets. It was a blessing to see people of all ages coming together to honor the significance of Juneteenth and remember the importance of freedom, hope, and unity.

We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and thankful for everyone who made this celebration possible. Events like these remind us how much stronger we are when we come together, celebrate our history, and support one another.

Thank you, Waco, for allowing us to be part of this meaningful day. We loved every minute of it and look forward to continuing to serve and celebrate alongside our neighbors.

📚🎮🍕 Youth Group at Church Under the Bridge! 🍕🎮📚

Looking for a place where your kids can grow in their faith, make friends, eat good food, and occasionally prove they're way too competitive at games? We've got you covered!

Every Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 PM, our youth gather at the Church Under the Bridge office for a meal, fellowship, and a time of learning about Jesus together. We have an amazing group of kids who genuinely enjoy growing in their faith and encouraging one another.

On the first Wednesday of each month, we mix things up with games, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition. (No promises about who wins, but we can promise a good time!)

We believe following Jesus isn't something we're meant to do alone. It's something we do together. Learning, growing, asking questions, building friendships, and having fun along the way.

What a special day for our Church Under the Bridge family!

A week ago, we had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting for the tiny home that our church helped make possible through your generosity and support. Being able to stand together, celebrate this milestone, and pray over this home was truly a blessing.

What makes this moment even more meaningful is that one of our very own Church Under the Bridge members will now have a place to call home. Seeing God's love put into action in such a tangible way reminds us why we do what we do.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Creekside and be part of something that brings hope, dignity, and a fresh start to those in our community.

Thank you to everyone who gave, prayed, volunteered, and believed in this vision. We celebrate not just a house, but a home, and the incredible things that can happen when God's people come together to serve.

What a wonderful afternoon we had at our Church Under the Bridge Community Service Sunday!

A huge thank you to everyone who stayed after church and gave their time, energy, and hearts to serve our community. Throughout the afternoon, teams spread out across the city to visit nursing home residents, complete projects at the church office, pick up trash in our community, and work in the CUB Community Garden.

It was inspiring to see so many people willing to roll up their sleeves and serve others with joy. Every conversation, every project completed, and every act of kindness made a difference.

To wrap up an incredible day, we gathered at Creekside for a celebration with our volunteers and the residents. We shared a meal, spent time together, laughed, visited, and simply enjoyed being in community with one another. Those moments of fellowship were just as meaningful as the work itself.

Days like this remind us that being the church isn't just something we do on Sunday mornings, it's something we live out together in our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. We are blessed by each one of you! ❤️

⚾ Church Under the Bridge Family Ministry went to the Rangers game today!

Before the game, we stopped for a great meal together at Whataburger, then headed to the ballpark for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

The Rangers waited until the last minute to win, our hearts survived, and everyone had a great time. 😂

Days like this remind us that some of the best ministry happens while simply spending time together, sharing meals, and making memories.

🌿 MARK YOUR CALENDARS! 🌿

This year we’re doing Community Service Day a little differently at Church Under the Bridge. Instead of canceling church service, we’ll gather together for worship first and then head out into our community to serve together afterward!

After church, teams will be sent out to:
💚 Serve at Creekside Village
🌱 Work in our community garden
🧹 Help with cleanup projects
🏥 Visit nursing homes and hospitals

This is a chance for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus together while loving the people in our community in practical ways.

⏰ Service at regular time
🙌 Community projects from 1:00–4:00 PM
🎉 Creekside Celebration after!

There’s a place for everyone to serve, and we would love for you to join us!
